Before you begin
Fifteen minutes here saves you from the two most common bad outcomes: an account too small to run the strategy properly, and money on the wrong venue.
You need an account of at least $2,500
Section titled “You need an account of at least $2,500”| Exchange | Minimum account equity |
|---|---|
| Bitget | $2,500 |
| Gate | $2,500 |
| Hyperliquid | $5,000 |
These are arithmetic, not policy. The strategy holds roughly twenty positions, and every exchange enforces a minimum order size. Hyperliquid’s is about twice Bitget’s, which is why its floor is twice as high.
Below the floor, a meaningful share of those twenty legs fall under the venue’s minimum and are held.
If you are near a floor, being above it is worth more than being on your preferred venue.
Which exchange
Section titled “Which exchange”See Choosing a venue for the full comparison. In short:
- Bitget or Gate between $2,500 and $5,000. Lowest order minimums.
- Hyperliquid for self-custody, at $5,000 or more.
- Your existing exchange, if it is one of these three and already funded.
Binance is not offered today, though the venue list is expanding. We choose venues for breadth of listed markets and depth of liquidity, because the strategy needs both, and you can name the exchange you want at the connect-exchange step after you sign up.
Funds must be in the futures account
Section titled “Funds must be in the futures account”The strategy trades perpetual futures, not spot, so transfer your trading capital into the futures or perpetuals account before connecting. This trips people up regularly: the connection tests fine, then reports an equity far below what you deposited, because the rest is still in spot.
Decide your leverage before you are asked
Section titled “Decide your leverage before you are asked”Leverage scales gains and losses by the same factor. There is no setting that raises one without the other. The app groups the range into three bands:
| Band | Roughly |
|---|---|
| Conservative | The lower third of the system’s range |
| Moderate | The middle third |
| Aggressive | The upper third |
If unsure, start conservative. You can change it at any time from Systems, effective at the next daily run, and it is far more comfortable to raise leverage after a few weeks of real behaviour than to lower it during a drawdown. See Leverage for the mechanics.
Understand what your plan limits
Section titled “Understand what your plan limits”Your subscription tier caps your leveraged capital: the total size of the book, long plus short. It is not a limit on your deposits. At 2x gross, a $20,000 account consumes roughly $40,000 of that cap, which is why plan cards show an approximate equity band. Pick the tier matching your equity rather than overbuying. See Plan limits.
Things to have ready
Section titled “Things to have ready”- Funded futures account on your chosen exchange.
- Ability to create API keys there. Some exchanges require 2FA first, and some impose a cooling-off period on new keys.
- Your IP address, if you plan to use IP allowlisting. It must permit our servers, not your home connection, so read the venue page first.
- A payment method, since a system stays inactive until checkout completes.
What you are agreeing to
Section titled “What you are agreeing to”Worth reading before rather than after: the Risk Statement and Terms of Service. In one line, leveraged crypto trading can lose money, the strategy has losing stretches, and only capital you can afford to lose belongs here.
Setup walkthrough takes you through the four onboarding steps.
